“Without the vital ingredient of Belief, no amount of Desire, Knowledge and Work can bear fruit.”
I am a strong believer in giving yourself thinking time, because without spending the time to think, you really never know what it is you want, or how I am going to achieve it”
Without thinking there can be no dreaming – without dreaming there can be no ideas – without ideas there can be no planning – no goals – no achieving – no success – and nothing changes.

All I have to do is tap into my core determination and focus.” …$99,000

The number one way I set myself up for success is by uncovering and overwriting limiting beliefs
So, what will we be proud to contribute to and accomplish in life? What service will we provide? What art will we create and leave behind? Will this make a difference? From such questions is birthed a life that matters. But without vision into these things, we have nothing to align ourselves to. Where there is no clarity, there can be no integrity. Armed with intentions for who I wish to be, how I wish to interact with others, and what I wish to give, I become a conscious person. I gain the full might of my personal power.
If you really want to change your belief structure, you have to not only weaken the old beliefs, but also replace them with new ones.
Desire + Knowledge + Belief = Success
Desire + Knowledge – Belief = Frustration
I decided not to fight. I decided to overwrite. I questioned whether it could in fact be that easy. Could I actually change my outer experiences just by doing some simple exercises to overwrite key aspects of my subconscious programming? But I suspended my disbelief and decided to give it a try. And—boom! It started to work.”

I must learn how to reprogram myself for success, health, abundance, emotional freedom, financial freedom, happiness—whatever I wanted.”
I need to identify exactly what limiting beliefs I had taken on in my early development.
This stellar turnaround was not achieved in a favourable business environment. It was done during the four years immediately following the global financial crisis, when the economy was slow and many of our competitors went out of business. I look back on it, and I am still amazed. Beliefs are powerful things.
Subconscious sabotage is something to remain vigilant about.
One of the biggest indicators of misalignment between beliefs and goals is frustration, working hard without achieving my goals. Without the vital ingredient of Belief, no amount of Desire, Knowledge and Work can bear fruit.
When your beliefs and your desires are not in alignment, then nothing is easy.
I must align my own inner programming to be more supportive of my outer goals
“Know Thyself” written 2,500 years ago…answers come from within.
To overwrite my own biases I need to develop the following
- Right knowledge
- A strong desire to succeed
- Discipline
- Persistence
- Patience
- A willingness to make mistakes
- An ability to acknowledge mistakes quickly
- An inclination to learn from mistakes
- A willingness to try again
- The ability to feel comfortable with success
- And a supportive belief structure about myself, about money and about success
My old limiting beliefs are blocking the path to achieving true and lasting financial freedom.
- Money is hard to come by
- Easy come easy go
- I have to give up my life to make a lot of money
- Money doesn’t grow on trees
- Money causes problems
- You have to work very hard and long to make a lot of money
- There is never enough money to go around
- I can’t hold onto money.
- Wanting a lot of money is wrong
- Rich people are dishonest
- You have to take advantage of people to make a lot of money.
- You can make money doing what you love
- I am not worthy to have lots of money
- Money’s not important.
- People won’t pay me much for my service.
Those who persistently don’t succeed and are frustrated in their efforts—despite having a burning desire and all the knowledge they should need in order to do so—aren’t succeeding because on a subconscious level they either don’t believe they could or don’t believe they should.
Over the years I’ve had to learn that life does not have to be jam-packed with drama all the time. My emotional and financial life can be smooth. It can all be peaceful and easy. Now I have installed a belief that my financial situation is stable and my wealth is steadily growing. And so it is.”
You may experience a sense of fatigue or an inability to concentrate as you try to gain knowledge that supports a conscious desire but conflicts with an underlying belief. This fatigue is often a physical indication that you have resistance from a subconscious belief.”
When you get disheartened or give up easily, this may indicate you never really believed the goal was truly possible.”
Our subconscious beliefs determine the conscious reality that we experience.
If you do not have a belief system that supports your goal, then you will not be able to achieve them.
“You don’t necessarily have to work hard for every penny you get. You don’t have to work nine to five (or worse). You can do what you love. You can determine your own worth. You can remain authentic and true to yourself and still get ahead. You can define for yourself what “getting ahead” means. You can be financially free. You can have it all. Yes! You can! Do you believe it? This is not a trivial question, so let me ask you again: Do you believe it?

But if there’s an easy way to make money, and you understand it, is it okay to use it? Of course it’s okay! If there’s a path to getting ahead in life that doesn’t involve endless long hours of work, is it okay to take it? Of course it’s okay! Go for it!”
The purpose of examining the myths individually is twofold: To help you identify whether you might be holding these or similar beliefs, which may be thwarting your efforts to achieve financial freedom. To introduce an element of doubt regarding the validity of these commonly held subconscious beliefs in order to begin viewing them as myths that do not have to be true for you if you don’t want them to be.”
If you want to weaken the hold of a limiting belief on your subconscious, the introduction of doubt around that belief is an important first step.”
Money Myth 1 Scarcity “Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees”
“Scar-city” is not a fact. It is not a trend. As a worldview, it is not even backed up by the data. Scarcity is just a belief that no longer serves us.
Scarcity Mind-Set puts us on a never-ending hamster wheel
Abundance Mind-Set is relaxed, there is enough, we are enough and to follow our joy in all things
Abundance Forest v Scar-City Abundance Forest is like an eco-system where we are all linked, where the prosperity of each is intrinsically linked to the prosperity of all. This mindset encourages us to connect, to inspire and to create from our boundless imaginations.
To spot opportunities we have to remain hopeful and optimistic.
Abundance Mind-Set we feel full of purpose, full of energy and we have a seemingly limitless drive.
Fear stops us from see opportunities
Parashifting is a continual process of paradigm/belief change. It’s about noticing, remembering and setting myself up for success.
One belief that played out very strongly in my life in the past was that I could either be wealthy or I could be happy, but not both
New Beliefs…in my new belief structure, these states are independent of each other and able to coexist at the same time. Both conditions are possible, and one does not cancel out the other
- I need to design new beliefs that support the fulfilment of my desires
- I can be happy and I can be wealthy.
- I can do what I love and I can be wealthy.
As a works in progress, I will slip back into Scarcity…don’t judge. Don’t judge. Just return to focus on the Abundance Forest and breath in abundance and express abundance in my actions and thoughts.
Try five minutes in the morning and five minutes in the evening of just being aware of your breath flowing into and out of your nostrils.5 Let your thoughts pass across your mind like trains passing through a station. Simply notice them without participating in them—without hopping on the train, so to speak.”
Imagine how it would feel living in a state of abundance
Money Myth 2 Time = Money…”Time is Money”
If “time is money” then the ability to make money is inherently limited because there are only 24 hours in a day. Many people still believe that to become a millionaire requires long term effort and intense dedication, a total devotion to the goal of becoming rich at the cost of time to enjoy their life, having great health, a healthy work-life balance, fulfilment, a fulfilling romantic relationship, strong family relationships and friendships with people who aren’t interested in them just for their money.
Twin skills of identifying property development opportunities and conducting deal negotiations.
Never lose faith in my skills and moneymaking ability, and use these skills to get myself back on top
The real money is in finding the right deal and driving the right bargain.
Money Myth 3 Work = Worth…”You Have to Work Hard for Your Money”
But you can transfer your source of significance and contribution from the work you do for money to the work you do for love.
Are You Worth It? If you really want to have financial freedom, then first you have to be able to answer this question: Do you believe you deserve it? Do you feel worthy of it? Do you feel it in the core of your being? Because if you don’t, then you most likely won’t let yourself have it.”
“If we are not in the habit of being awake to (and actively seeking) greater possibilities in our lives, many opportunities will pass us by without our even noticing them.”
Stop simply working hard for your money and instead make sure that your money is working hard for you!”
How would I respond if I felt the judgment of others just because I wanted to take my life in a new direction and access abundant wealth? Could I handle it?
“The thing about the wealthy mind-set is that it is not just about having money; it’s also about a state of mind where abundance feels completely normal
Desire + Knowledge + Belief = Success
Desire + Knowledge – Belief = Frustration
Losses to our capital base can significantly set back the clock on the process…
Rule Number 1…never lose Money.
Focus on discovering what underlying belief conflicts are causing the frustration to occur in the first place
“Frustration is the key symptom here. It’s a really good place to start. In fact, I’ve come to see frustration as a great blessing. It always shows me something important, and when I pay attention to what it’s trying to teach me, then I learn something truly valuable. The dividends are huge.”
Sit with it for a while and try to uncover what is driving that annoying feeling. There will always be some way in which your subconscious beliefs do not match your conscious desires whenever a lot of frustration is present. And that is a great opportunity to uncover a belief blockage and to do some reprogramming. I know it can seem counterintuitive at first. That’s because we are conditioned to believe that most solutions lie outside of ourselves. Many people want to be “seeing” before they are “believing” —in fact, they want to see in order to believe, as discussed in Chapter 2. But it just doesn’t work that way. If you don’t do the belief-change work first, if you just charge ahead into implementing the next “solution,” things can seem to improve for a while, but then frustration comes back just like a boomerang.
Once you’ve reprogrammed yourself to believe in abundance and not scarcity, you’ve transcended the belief limitation of having to trade your hours for dollars or of having to always work hard for your money, you feel deserving of making money easily, and you’ve accessed the power of passive income streams, capital gains, and compounding to do so, then money may start to flow into your life both quickly and easily. You might think at that point that you are done: “Yay! Mission accomplished. Financial freedom here I come.”…almost
Money Myth 4 It Takes Money to Make Money…”The Rich get Richer and the Poor get Poorer”
Money Myth 5 Easy Come, “Easy Go…”Money In, Money Out”
Underlying belief that there’s no shortcut, no fast track and no free lunch. What happens when money and success start to flow easily into my life This work-ethic belief can step in and say you haven’t worked hard and don’t deserve it.
Money Myth 6 Money Won’t Make You Happy…”There’s More To Life Than Money”
Not having money is stressful, limits our freedom and choices in life
Money Myth 7 Money Corrupts You…”Money is The Root of All Evil”
A related myth is that if you have a strong desire to have money, then that must mean that you are, and maybe always have been, a bad or selfish person at heart.”
“Having a “beginner’s mind” is definitely important. From the Eastern spiritual perspective, it is also a highly valued mental state.
Someone who is truly an embodiment of the beginner’s mind is able to view life as a fantastic adventure, as a journey that is filled with constant wonder and discovery.
Money flows into my life easily, and my wealth continues to grow.
“I can’t emphasize enough the importance of making sure that your new beliefs are well formed

Write the new belief on a piece of paper and keep it beside your bed. Read it aloud to yourself when you get into bed at night, as you drop off to sleep, and again first thing in the morning as you are waking up
Also imagine what your life will be like with the new belief in place. For example, if your new belief is, “Money flows into my life easily, and my wealth continues to grow,” how would it feel for you to have that in your life? Allow yourself to become immersed in that feeling. And how would your daily life look in this new state if you were able to watch a video of yourself? Form some mental pictures of it.”
Keep repeating it to myself for as long as possible while I get up and get ready for my day
Also repeat throughout the day in meditation, driving, exercising etc and when I remember.

You can induce a state of relaxation by sitting in a comfortable chair, dimming the lights or closing the blinds, or perhaps lighting a candle or putting on some relaxing music. Clear your mind by letting your thoughts drift across your mind like clouds in the sky. Now take yourself to a safe and happy place in your mind.
You may want to perform a mental cleansing ritual that represents washing away the cares of the conscious world.
“Money flows into my life easily, and my wealth continues to grow,” how would it feel to have that in your life? What would it feel like not to have to worry about where your next pay check is going to come from? Would you feel lighter, like a weight was lifting off your shoulders? Allow that feeling to spread throughout your awareness. Allow it to make you smile. And what would your daily life look like? How would it be different? MONEY IS EASY COME-EASY GROW!

Passive Income $100,000 a year
Most people tend to focus on wealth and assets and their net real value, whereas what is important to me was not how much money I was or wasn’t worth, it was time freedom that I was chasing – time to spend with my family, time to have to myself, time to take a deep breath and not be stressed about where the next dollar was going to come from; time to be the happy, spontaneous and support my family.
